9 Days Phnom Penh: The Long Explore Trips

Phnom Penh-konpong Thom- Modulkiri & Siem Reap:
The Tour( FIT or GIT): Daily departure from Siem Reap with English or French speaking guide (other languages on request and subject to surcharge).
Day1:Arrive at Phnom Penh International Airport and transfer to the hotel (rooms may not be ready until the afternoon).
Lunch at local restaurant by own account and Accommodation at hotel.
Afternoon, Phnom Penh city tour: Visit the National Museum, also called Musee des Beaux-Arts. A French archaeologist and painter, Georges Groslier, designed it in Khmer style in 1917. The museum contains a collection of Khmer art - notably sculptures - from throughout the ages. Visit the Royal Palace, built by King Norodom in 1866 on the site of the old town, and the Silver Pagoda. Located within the grounds of the Royal Palace, the Silver Pagoda is so named because of its floor, which is made up of 5000 silver tiles. The treasures found inside include a solid gold Buddha encrusted and weighing 90 kilograms and a small 17th century emerald and baccarat crystal Buddha. End your afternoon with the visit of the Wat Phnom Temple, Phnom Penh’s namesake, from where you can enjoy views over the tree-lined avenues of the city during sunset.

Phnom Pneh – Modulkiri(521 km,9 hours drive)
This is probably Cambodia’s most scenic province. 9 hours drive from Phnom Penh, Sen Monorom (Mondolkiri) is predominantly populated by minority hill tribes with more than 12 different ethnic groups. Trekking on foot or by elephant to the nearby villages, sightseeing to the numerous and Cambodia’s largest waterfalls. After 3 or 4 days in that quiet province where time goes slowly, drive go to Siem Reap via the charming town of Kompong Thom, and Arrive to Modulkiri, Transfer to the Hotel & overnight.
Day3:Breakasf at hotel

 Elephant Trekking:
 Early bird special:
Transfer to natural mountain the sunrise from Phnom Doh kromum, one of more hills dominating the town, from where you will have a good spectacular view around & Return to the hotel for breakfast. 

1day trip, You start from Senmonorom 8:30am go to monitory Village of Polong or Potang around 11km from senmonorom, and you will see tribe house there, After you go to elephant rise to the jungle between 2:50h to 3:00h, You arrive at the waterfall, where you can swim and have lunch picnic there, After relax 1:00h or 2:00h. Before you take elephant back, you can enjoy washing the elephant. The way go to there, you can see the farm of minority people, The 1:00pm or 2:00pm you take the elephant to the village back.
Jungle Trekking:
 1day trek: You start from Senmomorom by motorbike or car 8:00am and start to walk from the village to the jungle by walking and come back in the evening. This trip you can see the waterfall that hidden at in jungle and minority village & Came back to Hotel overnight.
Day4:Breakfastvat hotel

The morning go to visit Pu trom village, 8km from Senmomorom, by car, After continues to Domrai Choan village, En arrive there, you will start to walk go to Kbal Preoh waterfall 3km from Domrai Choan village, where you can swim and have lunch picnic. After relax, you will came back go to Senmomoron and overnight. 
 DAY3-4: Breakfast at hotel 

Elephant Trekking: 
2days trip, You stat from Senmonorom to the village and start 9:00am through Jungle and stop have lunch at the waterfull . Relax 2:00h after continue by elephant to farmhouse and sleep there with Hammock or met plus mosquito net. In the morning, 8:00am you come back to the village by another way. This trip is very good for you to get a good experience night from the Jungle.
Jungle Trekking:
Start from 2,3..days you will go father and have chance to see wild life. At night time you enjoy catching frog and sleeping with hammock plus mosquito net and burning fire at the night time if you want to sleep at the village farmhouse or near the waterfall we can organize for you as well.
DAY5:Breakfast at local restaurant.

Drive with pick up to Bou Sra about 40 km northeast from Sen Monorom. This double drop waterfall is one of the largest and most impressive in Cambodia. Discover the Phnong village of the same name. On the way back see numbers of hilltribes villages and the scenery countryside and sunset on the Hill top special view (calling Shamut cher)
Lunch box will be provided.
Dinner at guesthouse or local restaurant and accommodation at guesthouse.
Modulkiri-Kompong Thom
Day6:Breakfast at hotel

Leave this isolated forested province and drive to Kompong Thom. En route, visit of the Wat Kohear Nokor temple (11th century). You will also visit the nearby village and its pagoda where you can observe the daily life of the monks. Continue to Phum Prasat with its single ancient temple and the nearby modern pagoda. Arrive in kompong Thom & transfer to Hotel, overnight.
Kompong Thom- Siem Reap
 DAY7: Breakfast at hotel

Depart Kompong Thom for Sambor Prei Kuk, located 35km northeast of Kompong Thom. Visit the ancient capital of Chenla with its 179 temples dating from the Pre-Angkorian period & En route, visit traditional villages and stop at the ancient Naga Bridge (Spean Pratpo). After Continue go to Siem Reap, located 60 km from Naga Bridge. Arrive in Siem Reap and transfer to your hotel.
Siem Reap
DAY8:Breakfast at hotel

In the morning, visit the South Gate (with its huge statues depicting the churning of the ocean of milk), the ancient capital of Angkor Thom (12th century), Bayon Temple (unique for its 54 towers decorated with over 200 smiling faces of Avolokitesvara), the Royal Enclosure, Phimeanakas, the Elephants Terrace and the Terrace of the Leper King.
Lunch at local restaurant by you own account.
After lunch continue to visit the most famous of all the temples on the plain of Angkor: Angkor Wat. The temple complex covers 81 hectares and is comparable in size to the Imperial Palace in Beijing. Its distinctive five towers are emblazoned on the Cambodian flag and the 12th century masterpiece is considered by art historians to be the prime example of classical Khmer art and architecture. Angkor Wat’s five towers symbolize Meru’s five peaks - the enclosed wall represents the mountains at the edge of the world and the surrounding moat, the ocean beyond & Transfer to the archaeological site for the Sunset from the Phnom Bakheng, one of two hills dominating the plain of Angkor, from where you will have a spectacular view of the Western Baray and Angkor Wat.

Siem Reap - . Departure
DAY9:Breakfast at hotel

In the morning, continue the temple tour to Takeo, Thommanon, Chau Say Tevoda and Ta Prohm, one of the area’s most beautiful temples. Ta Prohm has been left relatively untouched since it was discovered and retains much of its mystery. Its appeal lies in the fact that, unlike the other monuments of Angkor, it was abandoned and swallowed by the jungle, looking very much the ways most of the Angkor temples appeared when European explorers first stumbled upon them & transfer to international airport in Siem Reap to departure for your flight end our service.
